▶︎ Civil Resilience in Yemen

The war in Yemen is the world’s biggest humanitarian crisis. Since the capital Sana’a was overtaken by Houthi rebels five years ago, Sana’a has been under a blockade and is extremely isolated. But how are people affected by the conflict in their daily life? How can civil resilience exist admist this conflict?

This podcast interviews former LU-student Siris Hartkorn from the organisation Safer Yemen, on gender structures, climate action, tribal customary law, and civil resilience in the world’s biggest humanitarian crisis.
